Lenten season is upon us and starting last Wednesday I like Christians everywhere decided to give something up for forty days. So from now until Easter I will be going without using Foursquare. I am not sure I will make it, considering I had a hard time not checking into places this weekend. I was more addicted than I thought. I was going to give up social networking all together, but it is such a tool for keeping in touch with family and promoting my creative endeavors that it would hurt me more than help me. But Foursquare had no benefit for me and was a constant should I say burden. I couldn’t go somewhere without checking in. The world does not need to know where I am at all times. So here’s to forty days sans Foursquare.
